November’s Blog…..thank goodness for the Indoor Barn!
Winter is definitely making itself known now. October was the wettest on record, but we were really pleased with how the Kirklevington Field stood up to the wet weather….all the planning, design and draining paid off. The Dog Discovery Barn was an absolute godsend, and was enjoyed by lots of customers, new and existing. www.dakotaschoiceabt.com and tees valley dog training are still offering lots of wonderful training over the coming months, and throughout the rest of the winter.
We always try hard to give back to the dog care community in any way we can, and one of the things we are doing this winter is having a food Donation bin inside the Dog Discovery Barn. This is in aid of maxismates.org.uk and The Lost Dog Trapping Team, who are desperately in need of grain-free wet dog food, tinned sardines, tinned steak etc. Full details are available in the barn or on our social media platforms. We are always happy to pick up donations too for those who might not be able to travel to the barn.
Lest we forget. We remember those, both human, canine, equine etc who gave their lives for us. You will see the painted poppies all around the Dog Discovery Barn to support britishlegion.org.uk
We are already starting to plan all things festive, and are looking forward to putting up the Christmas decorations at the field and the barn. We have some Doggy Christmas parties to plan too….more information coming soon. As always we are open every day over the festive period to ensure our customers get the very best service- make sure you book your slot soon!
For those of you who don’t know what to buy your beautiful dog for Christmas, look no further…we have gift vouchers available to purchase online www.k9fun-time.co.uk , or handwritten gift certificates if you’d prefer.
